Samsung Prepares to Produce 17 Million Smartphone by April

17.2 Million Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones will be in the market next April

Expectations show that many people will purchase the new Samsung smartphone.

Soon after Samsung unveiled their new smartphones Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain; it is expected that Samsung will break their record of sales.

Southern Korean Media released that Samsung are preparing to manufacture more than 17.2 million units from Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge during the first quarter of 2016 (after unveiling them).

There is no doubt that Samsung want to break their record as they manufactured around 15.8 million units from Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge during the first quarter of 2015 (after unveiling them).

Note that Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are still on top of the list at Samsung’s most sold devices upon the first quarter of their release, then comes Galaxy S4 in which more than 15.2 phones were sold during its release.

It is expected that out of the 17.2 million phones, 9.9 million will be made of Galaxy S7 leaving 7.3 million for Galaxy S7 Edge (in a ratio of 6:4 for Galaxy S7).

Samsung did not comment about the South Korean news post, while analysts and tech experts think that this is a logical number when compared to the continuous improvement that Samsung devices undergo.

As for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, they kept their smooth design with an upgraded side menu known as Edge Panel. They are also water and dust resistant with a 5.5 inch screen. They also have new processors improving their performance by 30%.

The rear camera has a resolution of 12MP and a 5MP for the front camera as well. However, the battery is 3600 mAh that can also be wirelessly charged with fast charging feature.
